What Names On File Studio is
Names On File Studio is a private production tool. It is used only by the operator of the YouTube channel Names On File (@NamesOnFile), on that person's own computer, to schedule and describe the channel's own videos and to read the channel's own analytics. It has no other users and is not offered to the public.
YouTube API Services
Names On File Studio uses YouTube API Services. Anyone using it agrees to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
What information it accesses
Only after the channel owner signs in with Google and grants access, and only for the owner's own channel:
- the channel's own videos: titles, descriptions, tags, category, privacy status and schedule, thumbnails, captions, and playlists, so it can set and schedule them;
- the channel's own analytics and reports: views, watch time, audience retention, traffic sources, impressions and click-through rate.
It does not access other channels' private data, viewers' personal information, comments, or messages.
How the information is used, stored and shared
- It is used only to publish the channel's own videos and to produce internal reports for the channel owner.
- Sign-in tokens and reports are stored only on the owner's own computer. Nothing is stored on a server.
- Nothing is sold, shared with, or transferred to anyone else, and nothing is used for advertising.
- Reports are deleted when they are no longer needed for production, and all stored data is deleted if access is revoked.
Cookies
Names On File Studio does not store or read cookies on any device, and this website sets no cookies and loads nothing from other sites.
Revoking access
Access can be revoked at any time on the Google security settings page: https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.
